Graduate of the 1st Faculty of Medicine at the Medical Academy of Warsaw. She graduated in 2002 with honors. In 2010, she obtained the title of internal medicine specialist, in 2015, the title of gastroenterologist, and in 2018, she defended her doctoral thesis on the safety of preventive colonoscopy.
From the beginning of her professional career associated with the Clinic of Gastroenterology Oncology of the National Oncology Center - National Research Institute in Warsaw and the Clinic of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Clinical Oncology at CMKP. Since 2011, acting as the head of the Clinic.
Permanently cooperates with the Department of Pediatric Gastroenterology, running the "transit clinic" - taking care of pediatric patients with gastroenterological diseases entering adulthood and with the Department of General Surgery and the Gastrointestinal tract in making treatment decisions complicated cases of patients with bowel diseases.
By the end of 2020, she was an active participant in over 220 national and international scientific conferences, where she gave over 250 lectures, mainly on intestinal diseases, reflux disease, and functional disorders. The author of numerous original and review publications, including guidelines for the management of diverticular disease and irritable bowel syndrome, and a reviewer in national and foreign journals. Conducting innovative clinical trials, including transplantation of intestinal microbiota in various diseases of the gastrointestinal tract, treatment with stem cells of complex perianal fistulas in Crohn's disease. Supervisor of the specialization of many generations of internists and gastroenterologists, assistant supervisor in doctoral studies conducted at the Clinic.
